Installation Guide

Precautions

Install the inverter and DC connectors under PV modules to shield from weather and sunlight.
Ensure a 5 cm clearance around the micro-inverter for ventilation.
Note: Adhere to local grid regulations, e.g., UKG98/99.

Space & Communication

On concrete or steel structures, elevate the micro-inverter 50 cm above the roof to maintain WIFI communication. If issues arise, position a WIFI router nearby.

Grounding

The micro-inverter, a Class I device, requires grounding. Use the provided AC cable grounding wire. For specific utility requirements, connect mounting brackets to the rack.

Preparation

Install based on system design and location, ensuring the equipment is disconnected and PV modules are shaded.
Check environmental compatibility using the technical documentation.
Avoid direct sunlight exposure, ensure airflow, and avoid flammable areas. Avoid electromagnetic interference zones.

Recommendations

Use structures designed for PV modules. Position the inverter under PV modules to maintain optimal performance.
